The Planet 30-day trial provides access to PlanetScope Sandbox Data, which allows testing workflows, training models, and previewing datasets before purchasing full data access.

Sandbox data provides a representative subset of Planet datasets designed for evaluation and experimentation.

Available Regions

Sandbox data is available across a subset of WorldStrat locations.

Locations typically range from 25 to 200 km² and are distributed globally to support diverse testing scenarios.

Each location includes a time stack of imagery across multiple dates, allowing observation of changes over time and testing of time-series analysis workflows.

Planet Sandbox Data is provided under a CC-BY-NC license.

Sandbox datasets are available to:

• Planet customers with a paid subscription

• Accounts with an active Planet trial
