How to Clear the Browser Cache for Firefox

Clearing the cache removes old data so you can see the latest updates to content or settings. After you clear the cache, you might need to re-enter stored passwords or other saved items.

  1. Open Firefox, click the menu button in the upper-right corner, then select Settings.

  2. From the menu on the left, select Privacy & Security.

  3. Go to Cookies and Site Data, then click Clear Data.

  4. Make sure both checkboxes are selected, then click Clear. Close the browser.

Clearing the cache might take a few minutes, depending on the time range you selected. After that, your cache is clear and any updates to content or settings are refreshed.
