You can sign up for our 30-day free trial and you will be able to experiment with PlanetScope data that we have added to our Planet Sandbox Data collections in hundreds of locations around the world. You will also be able to test out Planet Insights Platform for visualizing, analyzing, and streaming Planet imagery.

Note:

• Minimum size area of interest that you can subscribe to is 0.01 square kilometers, or 1 hectare. You can create smaller subscriptions, but they will be rounded up.
• Processing units are required to order data.
• Packages are available in 50 sq km, 150 sq km, and 300 sq km. For areas larger than 300 square kilometers, please contact sales.​

Tasking

Designed for users needing high-resolution imagery of specific locations at precise times, such as during events or for detailed analysis.​

• Rapid Revisit: Multiple revisits per day, offering the highest frequency commercially available.

Pricing Options:

• SkySat Archive: $6 per km² – Access to imagery older than 30 days.

• Flexible Tasking: $12 per km² – Planet optimizes capture based on best available time and conditions.

• Assured Tasking: $40 per km² – Prioritized image collection within a reserved time window, regardless of weather or cloud cover.​

Note:

The minimum order size or area of interest is 25 square kilometers

Certain countries and specific areas are restricted due to capacity constraints and compliance requirements.

For areas larger than 300 square kilometers, custom pricing is available.​
