Unable to sign in to Planet Explorer: "AuthSdkError: The JWT was issued in the future"

In some circumstances, you might see the following error when you log in to Planet Explorer:

AuthSdkError: The JWT was issued in the future error in Planet Explorer

To resolve the error, try the following:

  • Update your system clock. The error means that your system clock needs to be updated. Set your system time to update automatically based on your time zone.
  • Clear the cache of the browser you are using.
  • Log in with an incognito session of your browser (Chrome or Firefox are supported for Planet Explorer).
