How to find tri-stereo images in Planet Explorer

Three images collected at nearly the same time on the same day form a tri-stereo set. To find tri-stereo images in Planet Explorer:

  1. Open Planet Explorer and search for the name of the area you are interested in, or draw an Area of Interest (AOI).
  2. In the filters section on the left, under Source, select SkySat Collect. Set the cloud cover to 0-50% to reduce cloudy results.
  3. To identify a tri-stereo set, look for three images collected at nearly the same time on the same day. Two of the images have a high off-nadir angle, and one is close to nadir.
  4. Click the Info square to see the off-nadir angle for each collect.
