Planet can detect roads greater than 10 m, or roughly three pixels. A road is anything a vehicle can drive on. Road Detection works best in fully developed or undeveloped urban areas, and performs well in rural locations too. Dry riverbeds, mountainous regions, and forests can produce false positives, though the feed is designed to work at planetary scale.
