Between June 2018 and May 2019, Iowa, Nebraska, and other parts of the Midwest have been severely impacted by extreme weather events. My team at the University of Iowa has used Planet imagery along with other remotely sensed data to create a timeline that provides information (maps, animations, videos, figures, etc.) on some of the extreme weather events and their impacts on Iowa and its residents.
