Until 2019, E&R accounts did not have a specific end date and were therefore valid as long as their users had access to their organizational email address.
Since then, Planet switched over to a fixed term of one year after initially receiving access to an E&R account. After that, access will expire and users won't have data access anymore.
If your university affiliation is still active, you may log a ticket with support and request for your account to be extended.
