RESTful API- Data API Details

The Data APIs is a RESTful API to Planet’s imagery archive allowing users to search and download individual assets. Data API is a collection of HTTP-based APIs that enable users to search, filter and download data programmatically.

Search → Activate → Download

Data API:

• Search - Allows for complex conditions across Planet imagery
• Activation - Visual and analytic products
• Download - All items, metadata and assets for imagery are easily viewable
